Duties Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver goods across designated routes. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols. Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Verify shipment accuracy, document delivery details, and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after shifts to ensure optimal operation. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on route driving and customer service. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely; familiarity with forklift operation or pallet jacks is a plus. Knowledge of warehouse procedures including load & unload processes and inventory handling. Strong navigation skills with the ability to read maps or GPS systems accurately. Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude when engaging with customers. Physical stamina to handle long periods of driving, lifting heavy items, and performing manual tasks efficiently.
