Duties Safely operate your own vehicle to deliver goods along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals and pickups at multiple locations throughout the day Engage with customers professionally, answering questions, providing product information, and upselling additional items when appropriate Handle heavy lifting of packages and merchandise with proper technique to prevent injury and ensure product integrity Utilize organizational skills to plan optimal routes, track deliveries, and maintain accurate delivery logs Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety standards Experience Valid driver's license or equivalent driving certification preferred; a clean driving record is essential Previous experience in driving or delivery services highly desirable Strong math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and route distances accurately Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Demonstrated ability in sales techniques such as upselling products or services to enhance customer satisfaction Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended periods of driving or standing Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently within tight schedules Experience involving disciplined driving or logistics roles is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills meet exceptional service!
