Job Description:

We are hiring Delivery Associates (DA)! As a Delivery Associate, you will play a vital role in our operations, especially during rush conditions. You will drive an •Amazon-branded van, work independently, and be part of a motivated team that delivers smiles and packages to customers in Sterling Heights and its surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and deliver packages to customers. Operate your delivery vehicle safely at all times, following guidelines and traffic regulations. Utilize a handheld device to access routing and customer information for efficient deliveries. Navigate various routes within the delivery area to ensure timely drop-offs. Adapt to different weather conditions while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach. Load and unload packages, weighing up to 50lbs, efficiently and safely. Assist fellow drivers with rescues once you've completed your assigned route for the shift. Interact with Amazon customers and the public respectfully, representing our team with professionalism.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. Possess a valid US driver's license. Comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Physical ability to handle the demands of the role, including frequent vehicle entry and exit, and stair climbing.
