Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company during deliveries. Duties Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Follow assigned routes and schedules, maintaining efficiency throughout the delivery process. Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on delivery status and addressing any concerns. Assist in moving heavy items as needed, demonstrating physical strength and stamina. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, providing familiarity with logistics operations. Experience in commercial driving, specifically with box trucks or similar vehicles. Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently. Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous. Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles when required. Knowledge of route driving principles to optimize delivery efficiency. Experience as a courier is a plus, enhancing understanding of time-sensitive deliveries.
