The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting parts, materials, and equipment between locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. This role requires excellent driving skills, strong organizational abilities, and a focus on customer service. The Parts Driver plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and supporting our delivery processes through professional handling and transportation of goods. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles including box trucks, commercial trucks, and personal vehicles for delivery purposes Load and unload parts and materials using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment Follow established routes to deliver parts to designated locations while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries using mobile devices or other tracking tools Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any issues promptly Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by communicating professionally with clients and verifying delivery details Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including moving inventory and supporting loading/unloading activities Practice safe lifting techniques during manual handling tasks to prevent injuries and promote workplace safety Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations with a focus on material handling and transportation Familiarity with commercial driving, including operating box trucks or commercial trucks with manual transmissions Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards for commercial drivers Strong organizational skills for route planning and delivery scheduling Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or other warehouse tools Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple deliveries in a timely manner Proficiency in using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and documentation purposes This position offers an opportunity for individuals with a background in warehouse operations or commercial driving to contribute significantly to our logistics team.
