This Route Driver position will deliver and pickup roll carts & containers from residential and commercial accounts. Position will also help haul glass on residential routes as needed. Who We Are

  • Safely drive and pickup or deliver roll carts and bins in pickup and trailer from residential & commercial accounts throughout company service area.
Carts will be removed either empty or full. Must ensure accounts are serviced quickly without leaving any messes. Will unload carts in wash area at company shop. Safely drive and load glass from recycle bins into pickup from residential accounts in designated service area. Will unload glass into storage box at company shop. Will perform daily inspection and maintenance of vehicles driven. Clean vehicle cab and exterior on a weekly basis. Report any vehicle defect needing correction to shop coordinator. Ensure cart storage areas at company shop are kept clean and organized. Required Experience & Abilities
  • Must be able to pass DOT drug screen test Valid driver license and clean driving record for past three years.
Must have experience pulling trailer with pickup. Meet company driving standards and comply with fleet safety policy Work independently in absence of supervision Understand and follow work orders and other oral or written instructions Establish and maintain cooperative working relationship with those contacted in the course of work Communicate with all levels of personnel and management using good verbal and written skills Knowledge of safe work practices Ability to work varied shifts depending on assignment Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift 30-60 lbs load consistently all day Must be able to push/ pull carts weighing up to 180 lbs. Work safely at fast pace all day Must exit pickup at each account to manually load or unload carts into pickup or trailer bed. Must exit pickup at each account to manually load glass into pickup bed. Education or Equivalent Experience
  • Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent At least two years of truck driving experience. Formal training may be substituted for some required experience Class C CDL drivers license required Salary

  • 27.
47 per hour. Medical, dental and life insurance benefits after 60 days. Probationary period is 90 days.
