Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating NON-CDL Box Trucks to deliver glass products to designated locations. This role requires adherence to safety regulations, handling of hazardous materials (glass), heavy lifting, and excellent customer service skills. Duties Operate 26' Box Truck and 26' Specialized Glass Truck in a safe and efficient manner. CDL not required. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries. Routes will be relatively the same week over week. Deliver to up to 12 different locations per route. Routes range from 6-12 hours / day. Unload product at customers facility. Handle material safely which will include heavy lifting. Wear appropriate clothing and PPE for glass handling. Precision driving required in tight spaces. Deliveries occur at commercial and residential addresses. Pay attention to and avoid overhead obstructions. Trucks require 13' 6" clearance. Clear truck of packaging materials after return to facility. Keep cab clean and organized. Trucks are shared between drivers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Requirements Valid driver's license is required. Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of route driving and freight handling. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent communication skills and customer service focus. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.
