Grouse Hunt Farms, Inc. is the parent company of numerous specialty food brands, some of which have been in business for over 70 years. With the explosion of natural and specialty foods over the years, we have been experiencing rapid growth. We currently have an opening for a CDL Driver for deliveries within the Northeastern PA region as well as some limited travel outside the immediate area. We are looking for a licensed CDL driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of packaging materials, ingredients, finished product and potentially other business-related items to and from our customers' facilities. This applicant must have 2 years of previous experience and Class A CDL license. You will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you, as well as working closely with our team of dispatchers in order to plan routes and track deliveries A Class A CDL or commercial driver license is required. Successful candidates must have a clean driving record and must pass a drug and alcohol test.

Truck Driver Responsibilities:

Drive a straight truck and/or tractor trailer to deliver goods to customers or pick up items for our facility Safely load and unload cargo using forklift and/or pallet jack Refuel and maintain vehicle cleanliness Follow traffic laws and report any road incidents to the company Inspect trucks and record issues Follow accident procedures Keep an activities log and log hours Report mechanical problems to company Plan routes using GPS system Get goods to the client on time Maintain a positive attitude with customers Keep commercial driver license up to date

Truck Driver Requirements:

Class A CDL or commercial driver license Must pass drug and alcohol test Must have clean driving record Must provide current MVR Must provide a medical certificate High school diploma
