Fabricare Center is a family-owned and operated dry cleaning and laundry company that has served Metro Atlanta for more than 45 years. We provide free pickup and delivery throughout the Atlanta area and operate two convenient retail locations. We are known for providing high-quality garment care and exceptional customer service.
Position Overview:
This is a hybrid position that combines front-counter customer service with pickup and delivery responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently. When working at the front counter, you will assist customers with dropping off and picking up orders, enter incoming garments into our point-of-sale system, and help maintain an organized store. When driving, you will service established residential and commercial customers throughout Metro Atlanta. You will represent Fabricare Center while making pickups and deliveries, communicating with customers, and building relationships along the route. Key ResponsibilitiesFront Counter and Customer Service Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service Process customer drop-offs and pickups Create invoices and enter incoming orders into the point-of-sale system Review customer instructions and accurately document special requests Tag, organize, and prepare garments for processing Assist with folding and packaging laundry and household items Answer customer questions regarding services, pricing, and turnaround times Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front-counter area Communicate customer concerns or garment issues to management Pickup and Delivery Safely operate a company delivery vehicle Complete scheduled residential and commercial pickup and delivery routes Accurately load, organize, and deliver customer orders Confirm that all orders are delivered to the correct customer, building, concierge desk, or locker Communicate professionally with customers and key staff members at businesses and residential properties Report route issues, customer requests, or delivery concerns promptly Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle Follow all company procedures and traffic safety requirements Help develop strong, long-term relationships with customers along the route Qualifications Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers Strong English communication skills Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer and point-of-sale system skills Ability to follow instructions accurately Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle in Metro Atlanta traffic Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry garment bags, laundry bags, and household items Professional appearance and demeanor Previous customer service, retail, delivery, or dry cleaning experience is preferred but not required Schedule Full-time position Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Schedule may vary based on route and store coverage needs
