Full Job Description Job Title:
Setup Technician and Delivery Driver Are you ready to combine technical know-how with top-notch customer service? As a Setup Technician and Delivery Driver, you'll enjoy a vital dual role that blends hands-on technical expertise with reliable transportation and customer service. You'll be responsible for setting up copiers and related technology and delivering the copiers to client sites. You'll ensure both the product and customer experience meet AIS' high standards. If you enjoy a balance of physical work, technical problem-solving, and direct customer interaction, this hybrid role offers the best of both worlds.

Job Functions:
The Setup Technician and Delivery Driver is a critical member of our Logistics team responsible for the safe, timely delivery of equipment and accurate setup, configuration, and customer training of devices. Daily responsibilities include but not limited to: Delivery Safely load, transport, and deliver copiers and supplies to customer sites. Ensure on-time delivery and accurate documentation of shipments. Provide end-user orientation and basic training on equipment functions. Follow DOT and OSHA safety guidelines for handling and securing equipment. Maintain delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with inspections and service schedules. Setup and Installation Unpack, assemble, and connect copiers and related hardware. Configure network settings (print, scan, fax) according to customer requirements. Ensure complete and correct documentation of serial numbers Perform quality checks to ensure devices are fully operational before handoff. Customer Service Act as the company's frontline representative during delivery and setup. Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving installation issues promptly. Secure customer sign-off for completed work orders. Compliance and Safety Adhere to company policies on vehicle operation, equipment handling, and workplace safety. Report accidents, incidents, or damages immediately. Use proper tools (dollies, straps, lift gates) consistently and safely. Warehouse Assist with processing daily incoming shipments. Break down and dispose of cardboard boxes appropriately. Ensure all warehouse tools and equipment are in proper working order and returned to their designated place at the end of each day. Perform inventory management tasks including system updates, stock transfers, and physical counts as required. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with clean driving record 2+ years' experience in copier/IT equipment installation or delivery preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and basic networking knowledge preferred Ability to lift 55+ lbs with proper equipment and assistance Excellent communication and customer service skills
