Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Furniture Delivery Driver. This role requires that you deliver and install furniture at each of the stops. There is a two person team but this is a physcial labor postition that requires you to be in and out of the elements at each stop. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to delivery schedules, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. Duties Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for deliveries and pickups. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques. Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with traffic regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations. Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents. Photos are required of each item in the home. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with box trucks. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Previous warehouse experience is desirable, including familiarity with loading/unloading procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks; physical stamina is essential for this role. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; knowledge of route driving best practices is beneficial.
