Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a FedEx ground delivery position. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to designated locations. This is a vital role in our company, as you will be the face of our organization when interacting with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a step van
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle
• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
• Use GPS or maps to navigate to destinations
• Inspect and maintain the vehicle's condition, reporting any issues or malfunctions
• Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Collect payments for goods delivered, if required
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Skills:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
• Familiarity with using GPS or navigation systems
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to lift heavy items and load/unload
