Call Smith Today at Position Summary Smith Transport is seeking experienced CDL-A drivers for our Over-the-Road fleet. This full-time position offers dependable direct-customer freight, modern equipment, competitive mileage pay, and predictable home time. Drivers operate 53-foot dry van trailers primarily on no-touch, drop-and-hook loads. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle over assigned OTR routes. Transport direct-customer freight in accordance with company procedures and delivery schedules. Complete required vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain accurate trip, mileage, delivery, and Hours-of-Service records. Communicate professionally with driver managers, customers, terminal staff, and support teams. Follow all company policies and applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

12 days out followed by 48 hours of home time
