Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Class A Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating commercial tractor-trailers to transport freight efficiently and securely across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving. Your expertise in handling hazardous materials, and non hazardous types of cargo will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including tankers, and specialized trailers, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan and navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure efficient delivery schedules across OTR routes Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit in compliance with logistics cargo handling standards Transport hazardous materials and dangerous goods in accordance with hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols Deliver freight accurately to designated locations while maintaining communication with dispatch for route updates or issues Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking load security, vehicle condition, and compliance with safety standards Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports as required by FMCSA regulations Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving on OTR routes Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers with manual handling skills Experience with tankers, or specialized freight transportation preferred Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards for truck driving Ability to handle logistics cargo handling tasks efficiently and safely during load & unload operations Strong navigation skills utilizing GPS systems for route planning and execution Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service Join us as a Class A Driver and become a vital part of our logistics team!
