Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products promptly while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers committed to excellence in freight transportation and customer service. Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks with a valid CDL A license to perform delivery driving duties across designated routes. Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to various locations, maintaining proper documentation and delivery records. Comply with all DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies during daily operations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition for driving. Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to promote a safe working environment. Manage cargo securely during transit and assist with loading or unloading as necessary. Experience Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Prior experience in commercial truck driving and delivery driving is preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards related to commercial transportation. Ability to operate various types of trucks and equipment safely and efficiently. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery deadlines. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services while prioritizing safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
