TransForce, a leading provider in workforce solutions, is seeking a reliable and dedicated Local CDL B Driver to join our dynamic team. This position is crucial in ensuring safe and efficient transportation services for our respected clients. Our goal is to uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and reliability, matching our reputation in the industry. Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL B vehicle for local routes, ensuring timely delivery and transportation of goods or services. Maintain communication with dispatch and operations team to receive assignments and provide updates on delivery status. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections as per company and DOT regulations to ensure vehicle safety. Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations, including compliance with federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations. Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving any customer issues during deliveries. Complete logs and reports documenting mileage, route details, and fuel consumption. Participate in regular safety meetings and driver trainings to enhance job performance and compliance. Required Skills Strong driving skills with the ability to maneuver vehicles in tight spaces. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to perform physical activities such as loading and unloading deliveries.
