What You'll Be Doing:
Safely operate and maintain company vehicles Transport residents to medical appointments and offsite activities Assist residents during boarding and exiting vehicles Maintain cleanliness and safety standards for all transportation equipment Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required Minimum of 3 years of driving experience Valid Class C Driver License with applicable endorsements for the state of employment Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical exam and obtain a DOT medical certificate (if applicable) Clean driving record and compliance with all state and federal driving regulations Previous experience working with older adults or individuals with memory impairments preferred Effective communicator in verbal and written English Comfortable working around animals and pets Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
