JOB SUMMARY
The Driver is responsible for operating TESL owned and leased Heavy T vehicles and Extra Heavy T vehicles and other Company vehicles to facilitate related operations inclusive of maintaining related documentation as required.
EDUCATION
Five (5) CXC O' Level / CSEC passes (including Mathematics, English and one science subject) OR Secondary School Leaving Certificate of equivalent AND Holder of Class 5 - Drivers Permit
EXPERIENCE A
minimum of two (2) years experience in driving Extra Heavy /Heavy/ lightweight vehicles. At least one (1) year working experience in a physically demanding environment requiring Industry Standard HSSE knowledge. Experience using / operating Hiab and Forklift will be an asset. (Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered)

ACCOUNTABILITY
The Driver is directly accountable to the Transport Supervisor and reports functionally to the Transport Coordinator and Maintenance Operations Manager - Pumping Division.
FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate company-owned and leased light motor vehicles and pick-up trucks safely and responsibly. Transport equipment, materials, tools, and company personnel as instructed. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required maintenance checklists and reports. Inspect vehicles for defects before and after trips and promptly report any discrepancies to the supervisor. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance and ensure assigned vehicles and equipment remain clean and serviceable. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of applicable traffic laws and defensive driving practices. Maintain valid licenses and certifications required by law and company safety programs. Provide professional and courteous customer service during delivery and pick-up operations. Protect and maintain assigned company property and equipment in excellent condition.
