Load securement DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Dump truck Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Transfer Driver and/ or 10‑Wheeler Driver to join our construction hauling team. This role supports daily operations by safely transporting aggregate, asphalt, soil, demolition debris, and other materials between job sites, plants, and disposal facilities. Key Responsibilities Material Hauling — Safely operate transfer and or 10‑wheel dump trucks to move construction materials. Load Securement — Ensure proper loading, tarping, and weight compliance. Site Navigation — Maneuver trucks in tight job‑site conditions, including backing, dumping, and positioning for loaders/excavators. Equipment Inspection — Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections; report mechanical issues promptly. DOT Compliance — Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and haul documentation requirements. Team Coordination — Communicate with dispatch, foremen, and equipment operators to maintain efficient haul cycles. Qualifications Valid Class A or Class B CDL (depending on equipment requirements). Clean driving record and strong safety history. Experience with transfer trucks , 10‑wheel dump trucks . Ability to work in fast‑paced construction environments and handle physical job demands. Knowledge of local haul routes and construction site procedures is a plus. Schedule & Compensation Full‑time, year‑round work. Competitive pay based on experience.
