Class A CDL Driver

Job Summary :
The Class A CDL Driver will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering products, materials, and equipment while providing professional service to customers and maintaining compliance with all company and DOT requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned routes. Transport and deliver products and materials safely and on schedule. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Properly load, secure, and inspect cargo before and during transportation. Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and required documentation accurately. Communicate with dispatch, customers, and company personnel regarding deliveries. Report vehicle issues, delays, accidents, or other concerns promptly. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle and work environment. Follow all DOT, state, and company safety policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Current DOT medical certification, as required. Clean and safe driving record. Previous commercial driving experience preferred. TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential), not required but a plus. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices. Ability to safely handle, secure, load, and unload cargo. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to pass required background and drug/alcohol screenings.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience. Experience operating tractor-trailers, flatbeds, or other specialized equipment. Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
