OTR Driver

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver and take on the exciting challenge of delivering freight across long distances with energy and professionalism! In this role, you will operate dry van tractor-trailers. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety and compliance standards. This position offers the opportunity to showcase your driving skills on a national scale, providing essential logistics support for diverse industries. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across extensive routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight efficiently as needed, ensuring cargo integrity. Transport a variety of freight types on fixed routes to USPS facilities across the United States. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight delivery details, and inspection reports in compliance with federal regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and address any route or cargo issues promptly. Skills Minimum 1 year showing on CDL. Must have clean driving record. Proficient in understanding route driving logistics. Strong knowledge and adherence to safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.

Pay:

$0.46 - $0.70 per mile
