Job Description

Fones Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Class A CDL Driver. This position is responsible for mobilizing our fleet of heavy equipment to and from job sites; transporting materials, supplies, and tools; and safely returning home to your family each night.
Requirements:
Safely operate CDL vehicle(s): Tractor-Trailer, Side Dump, Lowboy, Roll-off, Dump Truck, Water Truck.
Load and unload heavy equipment:
Dozer, Loader, Excavator, Skid Steer, Roller. Properly secure loads and handle freight with care. Ensuring necessary and safe loading, securing, and unloading procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs and service records in accordance with DOT regulations.
Credentials:
Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record. Preferred 1 year CDL experience, but open to the right motivated new CDL holder. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures. Experience operating heavy and light equipment. Strong time management skills. Commitment to safety, reliability, and the success of the team as a whole.
