Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring that all loads are delivered safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site operations and the ability to operate various types of heavy machinery. Duties Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with construction site personnel to determine material needs and delivery schedules. Assist in loading and unloading materials as required, ensuring proper handling techniques are used. Operate additional equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, graders, or tankers when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site. Experience Proven experience as a dump truck driver or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment. Experience operating heavy machinery including backhoes, bulldozers, graders, and horizontal drilling equipment is a plus. Familiarity with construction site operations including paving and building processes. Ability to dig trenches or perform other excavation tasks may be required depending on project needs.
