Full Job Description Lot Attendant, Truck Rental & Leasing Location:
West Haven, Connecticut We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Lot Attendant to support the daily operations of our truck rental and leasing depot.
Schedule:
8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday One week per month: Tuesday through Saturday Reports to:
Depot Manager Responsibilities:
Safely move and stage straight trucks throughout the lot Prepare vehicles for rental and customer pickup Inspect trucks for visible damage and report any concerns Check fuel, mileage, fluids, and general vehicle condition Clean and maintain truck interiors and exteriors Coordinate vehicle availability with the Depot Manager Keep the lot clean, safe, and organized Assist with vehicle pickups, deliveries, and shop transportation when needed Maintain accurate inspection and vehicle movement records
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of straight-truck operating experience required Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Strong understanding of truck safety and basic vehicle inspections Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform the physical duties of the position CDL is helpful but not required
