Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tow Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, providing roadside assistance, and ensuring efficient vehicle recovery operations. Your expertise in vehicle mechanics, towing techniques, and customer service will help us deliver exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and vehicle recovery towing, to transport vehicles safely and efficiently. Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs on vehicles when necessary to facilitate towing or roadside assistance. Securely load and unload vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Conduct automotive diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs to assist stranded drivers or prepare vehicles for transport. Manage vehicle recovery operations with precision, ensuring safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks while adhering to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally. Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies during driving and vehicle handling activities. Qualifications CDL Not Required. Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and basic vehicle troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle mechanics specific to truck drivers and car towing operations. Skilled in cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently in various conditions. Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally. Prior experience with flatbed tow trucks or vehicle recovery towing is highly desirable.
