Simply Green is seeking experienced and dependable Snow Plow Drivers to join our team. This seasonal position offers potential for full-time employment in the spring with our lawn care positions, if interested.

What You'll Do:

Safely operate a company plow truck to remove snow from both residential and commercial properties. Removing snow from sidewalks, entryways, stairs, etc. via shovel or snowblower, if needed. Assist with clearing sidewalks, steps, and entry using snow blower and shovel, and/or assist with salt application, if needed.

Requirements:

Valid Iowa driver's license Must be insurable with company vehicle insurance provider (no SR22) Prior snow plowing experience preferred. Must be available to work with short notice (min. 48 hour notice) Ability to work safely in adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time. Physcially able to sit for extended periods of time and handle moderate physical activity. Must be able to repeatedly lift 50+lbs and handle wet, heavy snow. Dress appropriately for outdoor winter work. Reliable transportation to and from work.

Availability:

Snow events are unpredicable ; must be available any date or time, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Shfits may last up to 12 hours depending on snowfall. A minimum of 48 hours' notice will be given prior to expected start time. Hours depend on snowfall and are not guaranteed. Shifts may be lengthy during significant snow events. We're looking for drivers who arrive on time, take care of equipment, and complete their routes safely, thoroughly, and efficiently.
