Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Class A CDL Local Driver, where you'll enjoy the stability of a home daily schedule while delivering essential freight with energy and precision. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries within local routes. Your expertise in logistics cargo handling, route driving, and adherence to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations will be vital in maintaining our high standards of safety and service. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, and refrigerated trailers, on local routes, ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and hazardous materials regulations when applicable Conduct pre-trip inspections, including checking load securement, trailer condition, and vehicle systems to ensure safety and compliance Deliver freight accurately to designated locations, ensuring proper documentation and handling Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route adjustments, delivery status, or any issues encountered during shifts Experience 2 years of Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly with Class A CDL licenses for local delivery routes Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Experience using navigation tools to navigate complex routes efficiently Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record This role offers an energetic work environment where your driving expertise directly contributes to our company's success. Pay:
