Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver - We are currently seeking dependable and professional drivers in the St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Livingston, St. Helena, and Washington Parish areas to join our growing team.

We are currently seeking dependable and professional drivers in the St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Livingston, St. Helena, and Washington Parish areas to join our growing team.
Including the following areas:
Hammond, Covington, Baton Rouge, Franklin, Folsom, Amite, Bogalusa, Slidell and surrounding areas.
Position Summary:
The NEMT Driver will be responsible for providing safe, courteous, and timely transportation to clients traveling to and from medical facilities, pharmacies, therapy appointments, and other approved destinations. This role requires strong attention to detail, a caring attitude, and adherence to company policies and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations. Assist passengers in and out of vehicles as needed, ensuring comfort and safety at all times. Maintain professional and respectful communication with clients, healthcare staff, and dispatch. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately. Keep vehicles clean, sanitized, and in presentable condition at all times. Follow assigned schedules, routes, and GPS directions promptly. Accurately record trip logs, mileage, and time records as required. Comply with all state and local traffic laws, as well as company safety protocols. Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and courtesy at all times. Requirements Must be at least 25 years old (for insurance purposes). Must hold a valid Louisiana driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations or DUIs), typically a Louisiana Class D (non‐commercial) (chauffeur) or a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) depending on vehicle size/operations. Pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment. Reliable transportation to and from work. Must be punctual, reliable, and customer-service oriented. Ability to assist passengers with mobility issues (helping into/out of vehicles, handling walkers, etc.). Professional appearance and positive attitude required. Must be willing to operate a company-provided van. Preferred Experience Previous driving experience (NEMT, courier, rideshare, delivery, or passenger transport). Experience working with elderly, disabled, or special-needs individuals. Basic knowledge of GPS or dispatch software (training provided). Schedule Monday through Friday; occasional weekends if needed. Full-time. Compensation & Benefits Paid training and orientation. Supportive management and positive work environment. Drivers are paid per mile driven. Pay is based on total trip mileage, including passenger pickup and drop-off distances. Additional pay may be offered for multiple stops or extended wait times when applicable. Drivers are paid biweekly.
