Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Dedicated Class A Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of specialized equipment, including dry van trailers, while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. As a key player in our logistics network, you will ensure timely deliveries, maintain excellent customer service, and uphold the highest standards of vehicle operation and cargo handling. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers on dedicated routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. hauling dry van freight including Walmart, Sam's Club and TJ Maxx Home weekly for 34 hour reset and home 1-2 times per week for 10 hour break. Navigate routes using GPS systems to optimize delivery times and ensure accurate delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking load securement, brake function, tires, lights, and other critical systems. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, inspection reports, and delivery confirmations in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues promptly, and provide excellent customer service. Skills 3 or more months of proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving for freight delivery.. Familiarity with 53' dry van trailer operations. Skilled in GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning across OTR routes. Excellent driving record demonstrating adherence to FMCSA and DOT regulations. Ability to manually handle cargo safely while maintaining proper load securement standards.
