In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge logistics technology to manage routes and deliveries that meet our high standards of on-time performance and safety. Our dedicated routes ensure that you are home often, supporting a balanced work-life while advancing your career in transportation. Responsibilities Operate a CDL-A truck on predetermined routes to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance where necessary. Document and log work/rest periods, fuel expenditure, mileage, and load information into our fleet management software. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Report defects, accidents, or violations immediately and in compliance with company protocols. Engage in necessary communication with dispatch and management to ensure effective and efficient logistic operations. Required Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver with a good driving record with no traffic violations. Strong ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc). Ability to handle physical workload and to maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
