CDL A Vacuum Truck Operator / Driver - $24+/Hr + OT + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus Young's Environmental Cleanup, Inc. - Flint, MI Full-Time | Year-Round Work | Weekly Pay Starting at $24/hour — higher starting pay available based on experience, endorsements, equipment capabilities, and qualifications. Young's Environmental is hiring CDL A Vacuum Truck Operators / Drivers to join our Flint team. If you have a CDL, enjoy operating equipment, don't mind getting your hands dirty, and want a job where every day is different, this may be a great fit. This is not a traditional driving-only position. Our drivers are also operators and members of the field crew. You'll work on industrial cleaning, environmental cleanup, waste transportation, hydro-excavation, emergency response, and other specialized projects throughout Michigan. Why Work at Young's?

Out-of-town, weekend, and on-call opportunities are available for employees interested in additional hours and earning potential. When overnight travel is required, private hotel accommodations and per diem are provided by the company at no cost to the employee. You report to our facility - you are not responsible for commuting in your personal vehicle to changing job sites. What You'll Do Drive and operate vacuum trucks, semis, tankers, hydro-excavation trucks, roll-off trucks, and bulk hauling equipment Transport waste and materials in accordance with DOT and environmental regulations Operate vacuum and related equipment at industrial and environmental job sites Complete and verify manifests, placards, LDRs, bills of lading, and other required documentation Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Set up, lift, carry, pull, and break down hoses and equipment Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Follow company, customer, DOT, and site-specific safety procedures Complete daily reports, time sheets, ELDs, and job documentation Participate in emergency response projects as needed
What We're Looking For Required:
Valid CDL A Tanker endorsement Hazmat endorsement Ability to safely operate an 18-speed manual transmission Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain/maintain one Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing, including marijuana, in accordance with federal DOT regulations Ability to pass a satisfactory background check; circumstances reviewed on a case-by-case basis Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and pulling hoses/equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
