Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently. Perform vehicle loadings onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition before towing. Manage vehicle recovery towing operations for various scenarios such as accidents, breakdowns, or illegal parking. Ensure compliance with safety standards and traffic laws while driving commercial trucks. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services professionally, and managing conflict situations effectively. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and shift reports to ensure operational transparency. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (chauffeur license ) with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving preferred. Proven experience in automotive repair, minor mechanical vehicle repairs, or automotive diagnostics. Mechanical knowledge of vehicles, including understanding of car mechanics for truck drivers. Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks. Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs efficiently. Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging customer interactions professionally. Hands-on experience with flatbed tow trucks or other tow truck types preferred.
