Job Description

CDL-A Driver Pay:
$30-$35 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00-7:00 AM start time until project completion

Valid CDL-A We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL-A Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting construction materials, equipment, and aggregates to and from job sites while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. The ideal candidate has experience operating dump trucks, strong knowledge of transportation safety requirements, and a commitment to reliability, professionalism, and quality service. ResponsibilitiesCDL-A Driving Safely operate CDL-A dump trucks and other company vehicles. Transport aggregates, soil, stone, asphalt, and construction materials to job sites. Load and unload materials as needed. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies. Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation. Secure loads properly and verify materials before transport. Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and job site personnel. Maintain a clean and professional appearance of assigned vehicles. General Job Site Support Assist crews with material delivery coordination. Support site operations as needed during downtime between deliveries. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. Report vehicle maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly. QualificationsRequired Valid CDL-A License with a clean driving record. Experience operating dump trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety requirements. Ability to work extended hours when project demands require. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform occasional physical work. Strong communication and time-management skills. Dependable, safety-focused, and professional. Preferred Construction industry experience. Experience hauling aggregates, construction materials, or heavy equipment. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability. Work Environment Outdoor construction and job site environments. Exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and heavy equipment. Overtime and extended shifts available based on workload and seasonal demand.
