Duties Operate flatbed tow trucks and other specialized tow vehicles to recover and transport a variety of vehicles, including trucks, cars, and heavy-duty equipment Perform vehicle diagnostics, basic troubleshooting, and minor mechanical repairs to prepare vehicles for safe transport or roadside service Secure cargo properly following cargo securement protocols to prevent accidents during transit Load and unload vehicles safely onto tow trucks using manual transmission skills and mechanical knowledge Conduct vehicle recovery towing operations efficiently while adhering to safety standards and traffic laws Assist customers with roadside assistance needs by providing professional support and clear communication Maintain accurate records of all jobs performed, including damage reports, repair details, and towing logs Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic with strong automotive diagnostics, repair skills, and mechanical knowledge Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving preferred Skilled in vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and basic vehicle troubleshooting techniques Ability to operate flatbed tow trucks and other tow equipment safely, including manual transmission vehicles Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading procedures onto tow trucks Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills to assist clients effectively Join us if you're passionate about automotive repair combined with skilled driving!
