Wixom, MI Pay :
Starting at $26 per hour based on experience We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Vactor Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating hydrovac and vacuum trucks, performing excavation and maintenance work, and adhering to safety protocols in various environments. Vactor Operator Responsibilities Safely operate and maintain hydrovac, vacuum trucks and associated equipment. Perform hydro-excavation to locate and expose utilities and to clean drainage systems, catch basins, and other infrastructure. Perform site assessments to ensure safe work locations. Provide high-quality and professional customer service. Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Vactor Operator Qualifications Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Minimum 2 years of experience operating hydrovac equipment. Ability to undergo and pass a DOT physical examination, Pre-Employment Drug Screen and MVR/Background check. Ability to work in a wide variety of weather conditions. Self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Comfortable working with various technology and software (i.e. tablets & smart devices) Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team and customer basis.
