CDL Class A Driver

Shift:

Day Shift, Full time Monday through Friday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 The driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to retail stores and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. This is a hands-on delivery driving positionPicking up and loading orders of palletized materials and stone inventory to deliver to job sitesSafely driving the orders to the designated delivery point, observing all rules and regulations of the road and DOTPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections thoroughlyComplete DOT required driver's daily log and trip sheets accuratelyMaintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipmentUnload orders on-time at the designated receiving location, leveraging use of a Moffett or forkliftRecord movement of inventory and delivery within our shipping system as requiredReport back regularly to Logistics Supervisor or Logistics Manager on deliveriesCommunicate with Project Managers and on-site work crews as needed to ensure up-to-date information is sharedAssist as needed with inventory counts or other tasks as requiredQualifications CDL Class A license2 years of prior CDL experience2 years of Moffett and Forklift experience preferredAbility to travel, including staying overnight on rare occasionsHigh School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience requiredValid Driver's license and ability to pass CDL testing requirements, including DOT PhysicalStrong record of safe driving historySpanish language skills a plus, but not required
