Meyer Contracting and Hauling is a growing excavation and hauling company specializing in grading, site work, retaining walls, and material transport. We handle everything from large-scale projects to smaller residential jobs and take pride in running efficient, high-quality operations.

Position Overview:

We're looking for a reliable and experienced dump truck driver to join our team. This role involves hauling dirt, gravel, rock, and other materials to and from job sites, supporting our excavation and construction crews.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate dump trucks on job sites and public roads Haul materials (dirt, rock, topsoil, etc.) to and from sites Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain clean and organized equipment Communicate with crew members and dispatch to stay on schedule Assist with light labor when needed on-site (preferred but not required) Follow all DOT and safety regulations

Requirements:

Valid CDL (Class A or B) Experience operating dump trucks (preferred) Clean driving record Ability to work long hours during busy seasons Strong work ethic and reliability Experience in construction or excavation is a plus
