Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class A CDL driver specializing in Dump Truck and End Dump operations to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight and goods across various routes, occasionally including over-the-road (OTR) driving routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, logistics cargo handling, and adherence to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations will ensure timely deliveries and the highest safety standards. This position offers an energetic work environment where your skills directly contribute to project success and operational excellence. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers, including dump trucks and end dumps, on diverse routes such as route driving and OTR routes. Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to truck loading and unloading safety procedures. Navigate using GPS systems to ensure accurate delivery routes and timely arrivals. Transport a variety of cargo, including hazardous materials if endorsed and following all hazardous materials regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and hazardous materials handling standards at all times. Conduct pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and post-trip reports to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness. Assist with logistics cargo handling, including tanker trailer loads when required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or safety concerns. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record and 2 years experience. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and freight transportation. Knowledge of truck loading/unloading procedures and manual handling techniques. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution. Experience with over-the-road (OTR) driving routes preferred but not mandatory. Certification or experience in hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) is highly desirable, will hire without but would prefer to eventually have. Ability to handle manual transmission trucks confidently and safely. Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT regulations, and hazardous materials regulations. $1,000.00 - $2,500.00 per week
