This role combines the responsibilities of commercial driving with warehouse operations. Ensuring timely deliveries and efficient handling of equipment and parts. You will be the vital link between our warehouse and our customers and our employees working onsite. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Load, unload, and secure cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Drive route schedules efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to customers and employees while maintaining a safe, professional demeanor and appearance. Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking, packing, and moving goods within the facility putting away tools and equipment. Load and unload shipments manually with pallet jacks or with forklifts while practicing safe lifting practices to prevent injury Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions, addressing questions or concerns professionally Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles Warehouse experience involving material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks and manual lifting techniques Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and safe driving practices in various traffic conditions Knowledge of warehouse operations including moving goods, inventory management, and adhering to safety standards Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with workplace weight handling guidelines.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
