Job Description

Overview Company is seeking a skilled and dependable Truck Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator to support our excavation and landscaping operations. This role combines commercial driving with hands-on operation of heavy construction equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with a team. CDL Class A or B license is required . Full-time position Rate of pay based on experience Truck Driver CDL Class A or B - Local Routes Responsibilities Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites Collect and verify delivery instructions Inspect vehicles and report defects, accidents or violations Comply with all drug testing, FMCSA, CDL, and safety compliance requirements. Perform work according to project specifications, schedules, and safety standards Maintain situational awareness of job-site hazards, OSHA 10 Certification preferred. Support crew members as needed Communicate clearly with supervisors and crew members Work overtime and weekends occasionally as required Perform additional duties as assigned Skills Truck Driving, required: Proven work experience as a truck driver with a lowboy, dump trailer, and dump trucks with trailers. Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Clean Driving Record - will request copy of driver's abstract for proof Valid truck driving license, Class A preferred or Class B with trailer endorsement. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Must have at least 5 years of experience. Heavy Equipment Operation, preferred: Proven work experience operating excavators, backhoes, loaders, graders, bulldozers, skid steers, tractors, and related equipment About the company: We specialize in residential and small commercial excavation , offering precise earthwork, grading, trenching, and drainage solutions tailored to each site's conditions.
