Job Description
Job Summary :
The seasonal Pick-Your-Own tractor driver safely operates large commercial grade farm tractors throughout the daily designated orchard paths, pulling wheeled wagons full of apple picking customers to designated picking sections. Provides friendly "Orchard Ambassador" verbal instructions to guests regarding approved apple picking sections, bag pickup areas, and designated customer pickup locations.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
(Additional duties may be assigned)Tractor Driving:
Experience safely operating large commercial farm tractors is a must. Assists with daily customer and tractor path corral set-up and breakdown.Orchard Ambassador:
Some public speaking, interaction with customers, and provide information regarding apple picking operation.Orchard Ambassador:
Monitor orchard activity during hours of operation.Orchard Ambassador:
Maintain cleanliness of orchard operation.Minimum Qualification Standards:
- 21 years of age or older.
Physical Requirements:
Consistently driving, standing and/or walking, along with consistent use of hands, arms, with frequent pushing, pulling, and reach. Occasional heavy lifting up to 25 pounds, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.Environmental Conditions:
Outdoor work. Occasional undesirable conditions such as extreme heat, wet, rainy weather, October chill, and other unpleasant conditions possible.Disclaimer:
