Full-Time:
Tuesday- Friday 4:00am start time
Base Pay:
$22.50/hr. Delivery Driver's salary between $85,000 - $100,000 once CLD license is obtained. Job Summary:
The Driver Trainee is responsible for learning all aspects of Delivery Department standards and working toward obtaining a Class A CDL, which may lead to a future role as a Driver. Driver Trainees assists the Driver with whom they are assigned to with safe and timely delivery and merchandising of beverage products. The Driver Trainee is responsible for providing superior customer service while performing his/her duties. A licensed Driver Trainee may drive independently, provide route coverage or provide support to a route driver. Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. All employees are held accountable for practicing and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Essential Functions:
Business On a daily basis, delivers the customer-purchased product to assigned accounts Stock coolers and shelves neatly with product, and ensure proper rotation of product with every delivery Picks up all empty cases and or kegs at their respective stops daily Ensures all safety policies and other Company policies and procedures are adhered to all times People Communicates with customers and co-workers as needed to ensure superior customer service Communicates all problems or issues to immediate supervisor without delay Reports and resolves all customer service issues both internal and external in a timely manner Responsible for the communication and documentation of all accident, incidents, and injuries which occur in the delivery function Self-Organization Demonstrates the ability to evaluate and solve problems Able to complete tasks in the committed timeframe Able to adapt to changes and demonstrate flexibility to overcome obstacles
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED required Valid NYS Driver's License with satisfactory driving record that would allow the Trainee to pursue a Class A License. 2 years' general employment experience, including a minimum of 1-year related driving and/or delivery experience required. Ability to work additional hours, as needed. Must speak to supervisor to notify him/her a minimum of 2 hours prior to the beginning of work shift when calling in sick. Voice mail, text messaging or e mail messages are not acceptable replacements Required to wear company-issued apparel and personal protective equipment Responsible use and maintenance of company-issued equipment

Required to wear company-issued apparel and safety personal protective equipment Use and maintain company-issued equipment properly and responsibly Environment & Physical Demands Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures Notify Safety Officer, Supervisor and Human Resources immediately for all on-the-job accidents or injuries Exposure to rain, snow, extreme hot or cold Ability to lift, push, pull up to 165lbs. with/without assistance Ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, reach, balance, grasp
