Job description:
A propane tank installer is a critical part of our fuel delivery business as this role is necessary for the safe placement and installation of propane tanks. A propane tank installer must be diligent in adhering to safety requirements and customer preferences, when possible. Expected hours for this full-time role are: Monday through Friday, from 8AM-5PM in the summer. During our busy season (winter), there may be some need for limited overtime. As a family-owned company, we are committed to ensuring that our employees have the tools that they need to succeed. We provide service vehicles and all tools required to complete the job. Additionally, we also provide all the work clothing required to safely complete the job, for all seasons.
Responsibilities:
Transportation and installation of propane tanks. Driving a HAZMAT installation vehicle, with necessary HAZMAT license endorsements. Operation of a truck-mounted crane and other equipment for moving tanks. Ability to size and install copper, plastic, and iron gas line. Communicate with customers and staff in a professional manner
Requirements:
A clean driving record and a valid commercial drivers license with HAZMAT endorsements. Must meet all DOT requirements including road test, physical, and drug screen. Ability to learn and adapt to changing conditions. Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy objects (greater than 50lbs.). Ability to work outside in varied weather/driving conditions. Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed, including some weekends and holidays. Be on time and ready to work daily. Willing to get CETP or gas check certifications. Possess a valid driver's license. Keep your truck clean and organized Complete paperwork daily
