Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full Time Dump Truck Operator to join our Small family owned team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating dump trucks and other heavy machinery to transport materials safely and efficiently across construction sites. Your expertise will ensure smooth site operations, adherence to safety standards, and timely delivery of materials to support various construction projects. Most generally daily responsibilities will be trucking gravel for the quaryies so dependability is a must Responsibilities Operate dump trucks and related heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, backhoes, and Caterpillar machinery to move materials across construction sites. Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on all equipment, ensuring compliance with equipment safety procedures and federal construction safety regulations. Assist with excavation, construction grading, and utility locating tasks as needed to support project requirements. Follow all safety regulations and construction site protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members. Coordinate with site supervisors and other operators to ensure efficient material delivery and site logistics. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and operational logs in accordance with safety regulations. Support construction utility work by assisting with utility installation, backhoe operation, and other related tasks as directed. Requirements Proven experience in commercial truck driving, heavy equipment operation, or construction machinery maintenance. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Skilled in loader operation, excavator handling, backhoe operation, and construction grading techniques. Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations, equipment safety procedures, and safety regulations applicable on construction sites. Strong understanding of utility locating processes and excavation procedures. Ability to perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment such as Caterpillar machinery to ensure optimal performance. Construction site experience with a focus on utility work, excavation, and general construction activities. Join us in building the future!
