This is an hourly position, and will be scheduled 3:00pm-11:00pm. The Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of products while operating commercial vehicles and related equipment in compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations. This role requires conducting vehicle inspections, securing and transporting cargo, maintaining accurate records and documentation, and ensuring timely deliveries. The driver must communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and company personnel, respond professionally to changing operational needs, and uphold the highest standards of safety, customer service, and regulatory compliance. The Truck Driver generally spends up to 70% to 80% of their workday driving a vehicle with trailers of freight weighing up to 50,000 pounds, and may require driving in inclement weather conditions as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Report to work fit for duty and able to safely perform assigned responsibilities. Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles and refrigeration equipment in varying weather, traffic, and delivery conditions. Complete vehicle, trailer, and cargo operations, including inspections, coupling/uncoupling, loading, unloading, and securing freight. Conduct required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition. Perform routine equipment servicing, including fueling, fluid checks, and basic maintenance tasks. Plan and follow safe, efficient, and compliant routes to meet delivery schedules. Accurately complete required logs, inspection reports, delivery documentation, and regulatory records. Maintain compliance with hours of service, DOT, company policies, and all applicable regulations. Communicate professionally with supervisors, dispatch, customers, and team members regarding deliveries, delays, and operational updates. Immediately report accidents, safety incidents, vehicle breakdowns, cargo issues, or property damage. Follow all company safety policies and safe work practices. Carry and maintain required licenses, certifications, and medical documentation while on duty. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Class A endorsements. Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate, or the ability to obtain one prior to employment. Meet all federal, state, and company requirements for operating a Class A commercial motor vehicle. Experience and/or formal training in the operation of Class A commercial vehicles and freight transportation. Demonstrated safe driving record and satisfactory, verifiable employment history. Ability to use load locks and all other necessary items to secure loads. Ability to read, understand, and accurately complete transportation, shipping, and regulatory documentation. Ability to read, understand, and apply information from road atlas, maps, and other geographical documents to plan trips and routing to deliver freight. Ability to communicate by phone for assignments, directions, and safety information. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet schedules and delivery deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Demonstrated ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers, coworkers, and the public. Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills. Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends. Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
One (1) year of commercial driving experience. Experience working in or with a food manufacturing facility. Bilingual English/Spanish.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment:
Regular exposure to outdoor conditions, including heat, rain, cold, wind, and weather extremes. May be exposed to areas with high noise levels, moving equipment, and forklifts. Frequently exposed to noise of varying levels and vibration.
Physical Demands:
Frequently requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, balancing, and climbing; rotate hands, elbows, and forearms; grip and grasp repeatedly and operate foot pedals; twisting torso and turning head to see surroundings and truck equipment; climbing up to ten (10) feet in height; and the ability to drive for extended periods of time in a safe manner under a variety of light and weather conditions. Regularly requires lifting up to 100 pounds from floor-level to over four (4) four feet high; balancing objects up to 600 pounds and safely maneuvering into place; stowing objects overhead weighing up to 60 pounds; and accelerated physical activity in awkward positions. Must be able to move throughout authorized areas of PNW and customer facilities, which may include areas with uneven terrain. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear alarms, equipment sounds, radio communication, and other auditory signals. Occasionally requires standing for extended periods of time. Must have memory, reasoning, attention, judgment, coordination, and functional control abilities.
Mental Demands:
S tress may occur when managing urgent requests, deescalating concerns, when experiencing delays en-route, driving in busy traffic, emotional stress, and other stresses and fatigue situations stemming from hauling freight for extended hours, and responses to such must be managed appropriately.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm.
May require off-shift, weekend, overtime, extended hours, and holiday work based on business needs. May include abrupt duty hour changes, irregular work/rest cycles, and irregular meals and delays.
Safety & Hazard Exposure:
Requires strict adherence to all food safety, safety, GMP, and related standards.

From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
