Job Description
Transportation Driver Do you have a passion for helping and want to make a positive difference in the lives of others? Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is looking for Drivers to join our incredibly caring Transportation Team. In this role, you will provide transportation for residents to and from medical appointments and group outings, as well as running errands such as picking up medications and groceries.
Schedule:
Pool/PRN (as needed); various shifts and hours, flexible to match your scheduling needs!Compensation:
$12.00/hour Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to) : Transport residents to and from doctor's appointments, shopping, airport, or other destinations safely. Operate car, lift van and/or small bus, as needed. Assists residents entering and exiting vehicles, push wheelchairs, and provide other minimal physical assistance, as needed. Provide an extraordinary experience by providing a secure and caring environment and making the most of your time with each and every resident and team member you serve. Communicates to the supervisor any changes or concerns regarding a resident's health and/or the appropriateness of services being delivered.Requirements:
Must have a valid PA driver's license and safe driving record. Must be 18 years of age or older. Be a team player with a great attitude and excellent customer service skills. Must be dependable, punctual, respectful, patient, caring and professional. Have the desire to work with seniors. Experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus, but we will provide training if needed.
