Job Overview American Asphalt Paving Co., a local road construction company located in Shavertown, PA, is seeking an experienced

ASPHALT TANKER DRIVER

for the evening shift. The tanker driver will pick up liquid asphalt in Cortland, New York and transport the material back to the asphalt plants in Shavertown and Plains, PA. On occasion, the driver will be required to make double-runs to New York. On a rare occasion, the driver will be required to pick up asphalt from Maryland. The position is for local work, and the driver will be home DAILY .

Skills and Requirements:

Class A CDL Tanker Endorsement HazMat Endorsement TWIC certification preferred or must be obtained within 30-days of employment at the employer's expense. Minimum 2-years' experience transporting hot liquids, interstate travel. Clean driving record required. Familiar with FMSCA rules and hazardous regulations. Safety conscious. Verifiable, excellent professional references. All employees must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test, and be willing to submit to, and pass, random drug/alcohol testing.
