Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you'll operate tractor-trailers and specialized equipment to transport goods safely and efficiently. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, combined with a passion for logistics, will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the road, connecting communities and supporting supply chains with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers. Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and ensure compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to verify mechanical safety and compliance with safety standards. Deliver freight across over-the-road (OTR) routes or local route driving assignments while maintaining a professional attitude. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and cargo manifests in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to confirm delivery schedules and address any route adjustments or issues promptly. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Doubles and triples endorsements is a Plus. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving. Ability to operate GPS navigation systems confidently for route planning and navigation. Knowledge of DOT regulations related to truck loading/unloading, dangerous goods handling, and safety standards. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service.
