The Driver I operates standard and automatic roll-off trucks onsite to transport rolloff containers, completing work orders assigned by the manager or Dispatch. This position will provide courteous, professional service to all customers.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Report to work at designated times in proper company uniform and with required personal protective equipment (PPE). Complete work orders assigned by managers or Dispatch. Transport roll-off containers between Creedmoor sites. Ensure the truck is clean and well-maintained before leaving the yard. Report any personal moving violations to your supervisor within 72 hours. Maintain a valid medical card and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) permit. Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or its equivalent Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision Ability to demonstrate proficient use of electronic technology within eight weeks of hire date Ability to understand and execute work orders communicated via onboard technology Ability to read, write and speak in English sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and make written entries on reports, required logs and records and other business-related documents Availability to work scheduled shifts, including nights, holidays and weekendsPREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent heavy standard transmission truck driving skills Demonstrated ability to operate an eight-speed standard transition vehicleREQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) Safe driving record for the past five years A valid Medical CardCareer Insights for Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver (General)
