DOT Physical Certification Full Job Description Role Summary:
Stallion is looking for a CDL Driver - Class A with no restrictions to join our team and safety transport shipping/connex containers to and from customer sites. This driver will drive a pick-up truck with a gooseneck and will primarily work locally with occasional day trips and will be home every night. The driver may drive a Route Service truck when they are not driving a CDL required truck.
Role Priorities/Responsibilities:
Safely transport products to and from various locations General pick up and delivery of rental assets including light towers, generators, solar security trailers, luxury restroom trailers, etc. Safely load, unload, and provide services for our customers Be able to follow DOT requirements Ensures compliance with all company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental requirements including, but not limited to: completing daily Job Safety Analysis, pre/post-trip inspection reports, near miss and hazard reports, and an accurate daily drivers log. Ability to read, operate and understand an electronic map/gps/dispatching system utilizing a phone or iPad. Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing). Ensures proper maintenance of truck and equipment to maintain proper working and safety requirements.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Works in a variety of environmental conditions, including wide temperature and weather variations including heat, cold, snow, rain, wind; noise and vibrations, fumes, odors, and dust. Possible exposure to high traffic conditions while outside of the vehicle. This position is outdoors and/or driving GPS monitored vehicle Physically able to push, or pull independently (unassisted) 50 pounds between 25 - 50 times a day Physically able to lift independently (unassisted) 50 pounds from the ground to waist height between 25 and 50 times a day Physically able to get up and down from the cab of a commercial motor vehicle between 30 and 50 times a day Physically able to bend at the waist and knees between 120-150 times in a day Physically able to reach overhead and pull down using 20 pounds of force and secure straps Physically able to climb up to 8 feet in height to attach straps Education or Certification required: Age 21 or above Must have at least one year of experience TWIC card preferred Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's license -- Class A with no restrictions and a medical DoT card Must have a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record that meets fleet insurance requirements (no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years) Ability to pass pre-employment background screen and DISA drug and alcohol screen Stallion enforces a drug free workforce and random drug and alcohol screenings will be done Stallion Infrastructure Services is an equal opportunity employer.
